Embezzlement is committed by taking other person’s property in the offender’s own care dishonestly . And the imprisonment for it is not exceeding three years and fine not exceeding six thousand baht or both.
If the offender is a trustee, the imprisonment is as high as five years and fine not exceeding ten thousand baht or both.
All cheatings are compoundable offences except public cheating.
