Yes there are quite a few things that section 37 requires such an alien to comply with. They are as follows:

(1) The alien cannot work without permission.

(2) The alien must stay at an indicated place.

(3)  The alien must notify the local police station of his residence in 24 hours from the arrival time or from the change of residence.

(4)  In case of moving to stay at another place longer than 24 hours , the alien shall notify the police of that place in 48 hours from the time of arrival there.

(5)  If the alien stays in Thailand more than 90 days, he/she must notify the  immigration authority in writing concerning  his/her place  of stay as soon as possible at the end  of every 90 days period.

The notification requirements under(3)and(4)shall  not apply to any of the cases mentioned in section 34 (work with on right).

The notification under this section can be made either in person or sending the notifying letter  to the immigration authority.

One requirement that is always forgotten is the notification by the person in charge of the alien’s residing place to the immigration authority within 24 hours from the time of arrival of the alien under section 38.

If the alien leaves the Kingdom, the permission comes to an end under section 39.a
